John Donnan Memorial Run 2008 - SV650.org

The following is taken from the biker.ie forums.
I was at this last year and it was a good run.

"The 2008 John Donnan Memorial Run will take place on Sunday 10th August 2008.

This years run will start at Woodies car park Drogheda, leaving at 12noon where we will proceed to Newry, meeting at the DVLA Test Centre for a 1pm departure. From Newry we will take those beautiful scenic roads to Downpatrick where we will then meet at the ASDA Supermarket car park for approx 2pm. From there we will make our way to John's home town of Ardglass where we will pay our respects and lay flowers on John's grave. Following this there will be refreshments served from the JD truck which will be parked in Ardglass Marina opposite the church grounds. The JD Team bikes will also be on display.

(Please be at the above departure locations 30 minutes before scheduled departure. This is to allow time for registration)

Entry for the run is €10 or £8 and everyone taking part will receive a John Donnan Memorial key ring and sticker for your bike. This years stickers are a really nice design and one to be proud of to have on your bike.
All the proceeds will go to the John Donnan Memorial Fund where it will be used to purchase Safeguard Safety Bales for use at all road races. You can also make an additional donation of £50 if you wish to have your name or company logo on one of the bales

So why not come along and join in with JD Team members Wayne Kirwan, Shane Connor, Billy Donnan, Amelia Fowles and the rest of the JD team along with some of our other finest road racers for this second ride out in memory of one of our greatest road racers, John Donnan #12.
