A blue one is a touch naughty and I would imagine being pulled for it quite soon. It's a quick fix to remove it though but I would've saved my pennies and bought a clear one. Just me onion. I mean opinion. If you flashed your high beams intermittently you could pretend to be a copper..........

*looks for blue cover for hornet on fleabay.

Give it a try. You've bought it now anyway. I've seen purple and green one's about but never blue. That said Stu goes around (or used to) with blue side lights on his SV. I think he got pulled once and asked to remove them. Suck it and see my dear chap.

Red is actually more illegal than Blue. All colours are illegal but there was an ACPO advisory saying just give a warning IIRC.

As long as you don't use it to pretend to be a police car I would carry on using it until you find you are getting pulled too often.

Hmm, But think. Your bike is blue and white. A high viz vest and some well timed flashes I bet you could pull someone over if you we're feeling brave. I'd probably try it. Although, what's the sentence for impersonating an osstifer these days??
