A good compromise is a K5 GSX-R 1000 or a K4/5 GSX-R 600 shock, depending on your weight.

How much weight for which shock? I assume the thou shock would be for those of a huskier disposition than the six hundred?

Well I'm 11.5 stone and the thou shock is a little stiff, though if you wind the spring out you can get it to the right sag settings!
