I remember seeing this at the time, and watching it on the internet subsequently. It's really weird, I don't think I've ever seen anything like it before or since, it's as if the rear wheel has a mind of its own and wants to move to the right, so Verm has to go with it. He narrows his entry to the corner massively and I don't know why he'd do it on purpose. It's so unconventional, classic "backing in" would have the rear out to the other side, is this called "backing out"?, "fronting in"?

Anyone remember Poor,Poor Melandri on Fortuna Honda?, Philip Island, last lap, last corner, spins it up and waves to the crowd on his right?
Do you? Thats my fave. Back when GP bikes were exciting.......and Marco had summit he could control!
