Ipswich- anyone off here live there I need info

I have a work job there friday- so 3 of us goin down thursday afto and from 7 ish til pubs close nowt to do. just drink and have fun so where to go?

That will be a night at Planet Earth in ipswich then but I cant remember exactly where it is or even if its still open. Depends what you want really. As Im an old git that was a good one being an 80s place right up my street.

if youve got transport - go to Pin Mill for the night - if its a nice evening . you wont forget it...lovely ride along the Orwell. under the bridge, end with a pint or shandy by the river....can also be done at Ramsholt on the Deben (go thru Woodbridge)...

or go to Levington Marina ...the other side of the Orwell, nr Nacton , famous last Xmas werent it....

Its a beautiful part of the world, but if you stay in Ipswich, youre asking for disappointment

Go to Bury St Edmunds it is a beautiful town with lots of bars and pubs including the smallest pub in Britain, The Nutshell

Used to live in Ipswich over 10 years ago and had some good nights out - Used to like the '**** and Pie' (It's a pub before anyone has any other ideas) but I guess it's changed now. Nowt special though - just a pub. There's plenty of choice.
