Hello .Orgers, trust you're all still rubber side down.
A quick Q about Lossles music. Anyone know of a site one can legally download and pay for it? Sort of like iTunes, but in a lossless format.

www.hdtracks.com do AIFF files which is CD quality but their artist selection is a bit limited.

Thanks for that Mr Spiers. A bit limited for what I want though.

Is nobody else irritated that downloaded music costs almost as much as a real cd but is nothing like as good quality?

Yup, I wont buy MP3's. They are rubbish. Get even a half decent system and you can really tell the difference.

I noticed play.com have started doing mp3 downloads at 65p a track.
Might not be what you're after as it's mp3, so the quality won't be as good as a CD
