Monthly Photo competition

hi couple of questions if I may,

Ive had a look and found comp rules etc but when does each months winners get announced and the following months theme be known...

asking as just got a new camera.....

and finally.....

the file size of my pics with said new camera are too large to load onto here...its a 10mp camera...how do i save it so its a smaller size...sorry if this is a dumb ass question!!!

Create and upload them to a photobucket account - they get resized to a good size for forums, and they also handily give you the bb code for the image.

ah niceone ive got a photobucket account..didnt realise they resized them...

What happens is at the beginning of the month last months winner suggests a title and a pic if they have one and everyone goes off and tries to take one or finds one of their older pics.

About 5 days to go to the end of the month, usually the 25th, submitting pictures ends and the voting begins and lasts for 5 days. Once done the winner decides next months topic and so on

Yup, photobucket is a good way of doing it and enjoy snapping
