Default What next?

OK, bought a k3 sv650n for a very good price and in nice condition. It was all stock apart from crash bungs. I have added rad & oil cover, fender extender, rear hugger and for now a givi rack and box. What tweaks or tuning are worth while?

the givi rack is going for the sw-motech rack looks nicer when no box is on it.

Some advanced training? Best "mod" you'll ever make.

Suspension work / upgrades will allow you to make the most of the BHP that you have, thats what'd I'd do next

Either springs and oil or go the whole GSXR front end transplant route. Have a look at doing something with your rear shock as well.

have a search theres loads of info out there on the forum on suspension tuning stuff.

Suspension upgrads would be a good thing 2 do somewhere along the line as said above in the rear a very cheap mod is a GSXR shock front end you could get a set of springs whice brand new you could get for about £60 quid ish or again as said you could do a gsxr front end conversion tho its a bit more costly than a set of springs for the orignal sv forks LOL.

another thing aswell an end can maby

Tuning an SV for power is a bit mad, I've done it but only because I was bored But as's been said suspension means you can use the (entirely decent) power you already have. The SV's got a lovely engine mounted on top of forks like biro springs.

"Few" mods have improved my bike as much as the suspension.

will have a look around for the threads about springs and stuff....oh it all sounds technical not just bolt/screw things together. Big learning curve coming up I feel.....as the the gsxr mod might as well by a gsxr.....if the suspension is that much better!

No i'd just say the stock springs are that cack. Go with an upgrade. I've got a GSXRk5 rear shock on my SV too which helps. Have a look around but just promise us you won't go for the Betty Boop SV look.
