Silver Frame Paint Code?

Hi All,

Does anyone know what colour code the silver paint is which is used to paint the rear set hangers / frame etc.

The ones on my bike had been painted black, ihave removed the black today with Nitromors, but it has also taken the silver underneath in some areas, leaving the bare ally.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Go for a polished look.

Polish them up, as mentioned above, you will only take the paint back off with your boots in the future.

Your right, i know it, it's just the thought of all that rubbing and buffing! Spose it will give me something to do whilst i sit the rest of my sick note out!

Try the wire brush wheels that you get for the drill i just finished a set of fork lowers on one of my bikes came out very well and took no time 2 do.

or you can go with a dremal or do by hand if your gona use the above idea try and get the parts into a vice as its way more handy.

Oh and if you go with a repaint as DD says its just gona wear off with your boots.

Sounds like you are going for the polished idea, but just incase
I resprayed my rear subframe with the same paint as my fairings - YD8 Sonic Silver - and it looks exactly the same as the main frame, pegs etc

The thing is, my off bent the rhs hanger, and I have splashed out on a spanking new one from Suzuki, so I kind of want them to match, untill the new one starts to look tatty at least! (New brake pedal too)
