Default Two Brothers

Hello all,

Im new here so I will introduce myself first. My name is Chris, I live over the water from Liverpool in a town called Heswall. I am about to pick up my brand new SV650 Sport K8 next week and I cant wait.

I am about to order a slip on this week so I can install it when I pick my bike up. The standard can is a little quiet for me and I love the vtwin sound you get from the bike with an aftermarket system.

I am thinking about the Two Brothers M2 V.A.L.E Carbon Exhaust. Quite Pricey at just over £340 but I love the look of the can and the sound it produces. Do any of you have any experience with this system and advise me on whether its good to go for or not?

Thanks alot

Chris.

Can't help on the exhaust, but I used to live in Heswall and got my new SV650 Sport K8 from Marriotts in B'head in July...where are you getting your bike from and did they offer you any deals?

Yer, the other system I am looking at is FUEL, the Titanium coloured version.

Here is a link to both Exhausts for you to take a look at. The FUEL Exhausts have a great price and good feedback. The Two Brothers seem to be very good, but im lacking any info from people who actually have them, they are a US company so they are a little more expensive.

These are the 2 im the most interested in.

Sounds like a decent price, make sure they throw in a genuine SV tank protector, 12 months tax and enough petrol to get you to the nearest petrol station.

They're OK for clothing too if you haven't already looked upstairs. They should sort you out with a tenner or so off the textiles they do, although depending on your preference, I'd be tempted to go to Hein Gericke as they still have an offer on their PSX leathers.

Who sorted the deal on the bike, Rod, Gareth or Mike?

P.S. I'd go for the Fuel exhaust, simply because it's British and from what I've seen, they're fab for pre and after sales support.

Can't help on the can but want to say welcome to the site. Get yourself over to the Border Patrol section as we are your local group, if you want to meet and chat / go for ride outs etc.

I have the Dual M-2 Titanium cans on my SV1000 and love 'em! Sound great and the build quality is excellent. Plus they are pretty rare and it's nice to have something a bit different!

I bought mine from the TBR agent in Holland as it worked out cheaper than buying in the UK. Mind you, I was spending euros not sterling...but it might be worth checking out all the same...

Cheers for replys guys. Nobbylad it was Mike who sorted me out, I have 12 months tax, and they are fitting some crash bungs etc for me on the bike.

Luckypants, thanks for that, I will take a look at the boards and try to come to the meets local to me!

I have ordered the Two brothers system today, should be arriving tomorrow, I will throw up a small review with pics when its all on the bike.

Thanks guys.

Hi, I'm new today (Keith), just bought SV650S fully faired from guy in Rochdale. Bike is red, 55 reg with only 1057miles!!! absolutely mint. (£2500) Picking it up Saturday. I too would be looking at an aftermarket can and I have looked at Carbon Can Co Fleetwood where I've bought one before. Been quoted £125 for stainless plus £8.50 postage (£135 for carbon) . I'd like to ask..... have I got a bargain on the bike and what you guys think about Carbon Can Co exhausts.
