Default Softening gloves?

Got totally drenched the other night including "summer" gloves, left them in the garage to dry slowly and naturally but gf moved them into airing cupboard, I now have a pair of dry, very hard leather gloves.

Think I recall reading to use vaseline or face moisturiser to soften again but cant find the thread, any opinions??

Pee in them. No, genuinely, it does work. But remind me not to accept any food from you at future barbeques.

Went into a leather repair shoppe, wee italian man who does the repairs swear blind by Nivea cream, wee blue tub, only thing he uses, says it will also provide some water repelency as well

+1. Accidently left my leather belt on my jeans the other day in the washer. Belt rock hard after it had dried. Rubbed in some Johnsons baby moisturiser and now its soft and supple again. If it works for a belt it'll work for a pair of gloves

I'll give the nivea thing a go. If it's good for human skin there's no reason it won't work on cow hide.
