Anyone know how wide a GSXR 750 K6/7 is, both with mirrors out and folded in?
As I'm off house hunting in Holland on Friday and need to make sure I get somewhere that can fit the future bike in to the garage/shed/....... Thanks. |

I can't remember off the top of my head but the distance between bar ends is shorter compared to a faired curvey.

Any chance you could give it a quick measure with a tape in the next couple of days?

Its as wide, but no wider, than a curvy SV at the tips of the mirrors IIRC. May be a dash slimmer.

I do know the handlebars arnt as wide as an SV. I know that for a fact, because I commented on it when I sat on my dads
still yet to ride it. Its more I dont want my dad riding my bike, he might thrash it and kill it. I'm sre he wont. |

Buy the place you like, (biggest garage of course
![]() Priorities! ![]() Worked for me. 1/2 a foot knocked out going from a Firestorm to........ My GSX14 was as wide as a bus standard. 810mm at the bars and about the same with the two blunderbus exhausts on. A Gixxer will be no bother, at most moving a mirror. I'll have a stab at 740mm bar to bar? Will you be looking for a "Herb" garden also? |

The hard part is reversing it up the ramp as I've got to bounce it off the forks to climb the kerb if I get the angle wrong
I reckon you need: Width = 70cm at handlebars with mirrors folded in, my back yard door is about 77cm IIRC and it fits in fine. Width required when on sidestand ~90cm if you plan on getting off without having to perform gymnastics. |

Cheers for that ZJ.
As for knocking down walls, I'll be renting, got my list through today from the relocation agent, a few nice looking ones with garden and garage (I translated one add and it said it had a barn in the garage ![]() Most are only about 6 miles from the Zandvoort track, 20 mins cycle from the beach, 30 mins by train to Amsterdam, the next 18 months is going to be sheer hell ![]() |
