Can anyone reccomend a decent rucksack for carrying a laptop.
Obviously must be 100% waterproof, not keen on anything too bulky. Cheers guys |

Have a look at the Kriega stuff, waterproof - expensive, but worth every penny IMO.

I always carry mine in a neoprene wallet thing - crumpler make one for macs called The Gimp. Then in a decent backpack.
I have used Swissgear bags in the past and they are very good - but you will need a waterproof cover for whatever you buy - hi-vis ones are available from cycling shops and millets - that's what has saved my laptop loads of times. I also have a hard Axio bag for the bike that I bought secondhand - they are great, but don't fit very much. If I wanted a bag that was completely waterproof Ortleib make a couriers backpack that is very good - and with the neoprene cover in that it will be as good as it could be HTH |

I have a Dell XPS Rucksack which will take my 17" laptop.
Not sure about the waterproofness as I always put everything in plastic bags anyway. I bought it for taking my laptop to work on the bike but have only used it a couple of times. All in all a good comfy bag. Here's a link: http://www.sterlingxs.co.uk/scpages/...udelaptops.htm |

I chuck mine in a Kriega R35 and it's survived my ham-fistedness so far.

I can give a little advice on this one......I have the Knox 6 backpack......
One day in February I had a ding dong on the mway whilst carrying my 17'' laptop in my knox backpack. I apparently rolled down the motorway, but, the laptop survived with no damage. Plus, the backpack is still being used today. At 35 notes where I got it from I can't complain.

I've got an Ixon computer rucksack which comes in 2 parts - the computer bag part and another part which is big enough to put your helmet plus more. There is also an extra bag for the computer which is waterproof too just to give extra protection. You can either zip the two parts of the rucksack together and make it one big one or you can wear either part on its own, to make it less bulky.
