can someone explain this please? - SV650.org

i have been told that removing the stickers on the tank and front fairing( you know, the "always wear a helmet, dont consume alcohol, blah blah blah" ones, will cause the bike to fail an mot??? i see know way that it could fail because of a sticker, but can someone with any knowledge tell me straight!!!

i have seen many road bikes with out them so i dont think if you take them of you will fail an MOT.

Nope nothing in the MOT that requires that crap......need to get around to doing it myself to be honest

yeah i didnt think they were needed, best to be sure though, altough i dont know why im bothered, the bikes brand new!!!

I just peeled the sticker off after it had been standing in the sun at work all day. Easy.

my bike doesnt have the stickers on and its gone thru its mot

Whoever told you that was talking out of their ar*e, a bike won't fail with those stickers removed!
