Pegs down - where are you boys doing it?

There has been a fair bit of talk about pegs down of late ... I went out for a nice long ride today and I have been thinking about it ....

I'd like to think I do some fairly 'spirited' riding but I've never had my pegs down on the road ... for all I know I could be 0.1mm or 10cm from getting the pegs down, but it simply has never happened/been a problem ...

So I am trying to think ... what corners are you doing them on? ... exactly how fast are you guys going?

The sort of roads I ride on there simply isn't the visibility to go in fully committed and 9/10 there is gravel or horse plop right in the middle of the road ... for this reason, I can't see myself getting my knee or pegs down ... I am starting to wonder if I am chicken **** ... or you guys are riding different roads to me ...

Or are you lapping roundabouts doing it?

Bit of both, started on roundabouts but on roads that I know and have good surfaces I was able to ride with literally double corner speed to what I had before I'd practiced on roundabouts.

Well quite ... so how the feck are you boyz doing it ... even when I went to France on my SV on a .org rideout and there were some cool roads and hot tarmac, my knee and pegs never touched down (bog stock suspension front and rear back then) ... and I didn't think I was hanging about at times ... so how the hell are you doing it (on the road??)

Try the left southbound on the A32 joining the M27 towards Pompey. Or any decent sized roundabout... Hillsea r/about used to be a national limit... not sure if that's still the case? Or there's the offramp from the M275 towards Port Solent/Portchester.
