Thumbs up Learning to fly

Anyone got a pilots license or microlight jobby?

I quite fancy having a go, and by the looks of things a microlight licence is the most economically viable.

Make yourself a flying suit, no licence required. An old pair of curtains should do

Have a look at gliding. I used to be staff at an RAF volunteer gliding school, which provides training courses and experience flights for the Air cadets.

Best thing i've ever done, should have stuck at it when I went to uni

EDIT: Or parascending... that looks great, and isn't too expensive. You can do a 1 day course for £100 which will let you know if you like it. iirc a £1000 course will get you to solo level... Then £1500 for your own kite thing.
