Rule changes for 2009
See HERE for the full details (as have been released so far)
The Superpole change I can understand along with the 'Flag-to-Flag' race idea; but why only 2 wild-cards per event ? Could it be that there are just too many good riders in domestic championships that can't secure WSB rides ?

With regards to the limit on wild card entries, did riders complain about losing points to higher scoring wild card entries? Could they not enter and not score points? Or do what Ten Kate (it was them was'nt it?) did at the Donington BSB round and use the wrong fuel thus having their points deducted?!

Ten Kate were using it for testing werent they? If i remember rightly, WSS uses different fuel to BSB therefore they thought they would use it as a testing exercise by going for the WSS setup.

Yeah they were testing and i was sure they used the worng fuel, knowing they would have they points taken away.
Rather than have a limit on wildcard entries, could they just not score points? |
