Default That Icelandic bank looks like a good place to invest in an ISA...

So I have an Icesave ISA acount. I'm in no great rush to get the money out, but am I likely to ever see it again?

I'm a little confused - am I ok because the UK government is garunteeing deposits, or am I screwed because the Icelandic government isn't?

please....dont remind me of these icelandic banks.....im an advertising sales mananger for a recruitment paper that specifically deals with local government positions....(Councils)

last nights news says £805m of uk councils money is frozen in these banks....108 councils throughout the uk have money invested with them.......

they wont be splurging out on advertising while this is going on......grrrrr

with ref to the isa, should be fine fella, our government (love em or hate them) will sort it one way or another...just might take a bit of time
