Default Honour amongst thieves?

This morning coming to work, white van in front of me is indicating to turn right at the cross roads ahead (from the major road, there is not a give way) so I start to overtake on the left when he decides to turn left instead. He indicates, turns & takes me round the corner with him. He was all very nice about it, stopped mid corner to check I was OK & signalled he was going to pull over ahead, which he did & apologised that he indicated at the last minute & that he had been indicating right.

Get this though, a Scooter stopped as well to provide witness for the van driver against me!

And No! Josh & Chris do not get out of the Yellow Jersey, Having your wing mirror forcibly readjusted does not constitute a crash

Just shows how bad eyewitness evidence can be

I would have smacked the scooterist.
I went into the back of someone and 1 witness claimed I was going up the road (not down) and the driver swerved out of a sideroad into my path (he had stopped to go into the sideroad!) bizarre.

The exact same thing happened to me on Monday morning except it was all on the right hand side. At least I didn't have to content with a f**knut scooterist though. I nearly kicked one of them this morning.....kept undertaking me and cutting me up grrrrrrrr.......

I had a situation like this when I hit a pedestrian a few years. Totally her fault for running out without looking but the white van men right in front of where it happened told the fuzz I was doing 60 (in a 30) and I got prosecuted for careless driving. Blatant lie but the 3 guys in this van were the only witnesses the cops took details from. I pleaded not guilty and the barrister that my insurers paid for made them look really stupid and the magistrates kicked it out. Lucky escape.

This is my first post here. Hi everyone. I plan on popping down one Friday after work to say a quick hello. Though I'm guessing attendance dwindles in the winter months?

Sounds lucky that the pedestrian's claim for compensation through your insurance was dependant on your conviction so they provided a Barrister!

Cool see you there then There's always a few hardcore fools that turn up
