Default I thought Hovis was the best ... clearly I was very wrong :(

Treated myself to some super posh Hovis bread

It was really really expensive (for bread) ... so I expected to be in gastric bliss ... sadly it really wasn't anything special ...

Anyone else been disappointed by Hovis (bread)?

My fave bread is Morrisons Sunflower and Pumpkin seeded loaf ... its megga yummy

Warburtons all the way for me. Once sent Mr Warburton an email saying...

'I like your bread'

He sent me one back saying...

'I'm glad you like our bread'

Yes, it was very thick/dense ... that is one of the properties I didn't like about it ... doesn't melt in the mouth spreading the flavour sensation and sits on the stomach ... the Morrisons stuff is far more 'airy'
