I believe that he is Huron Indian and takes his animalism quite seriously. I have seen him on a couple of Extreme piercing and body modification shows and he is very committed.

In some respects he is fairly ordinary, but he does cause the less liberal minded to think that he is something of a freak.

Using him as a cheap form of humour is kind of missing the point of what he is saying though. I believe that he claims to have some form of animal spirit so to him, it feels natural to modify himself in such ways and it fits in with his Native American beliefs.

I recently met a Girl Mouse at a gig, she was very quiet and had not yet started the full facial adaptation, but she was planning to. The scary thing was, she did not look out of place in a Metal club with load Goths wearing false fangs and contact lenses so that they could look like vampires.

To be honest, if I had the spare money and I was not dentist phobic, I might consider a set of fangs. All I need to do is over come my fear of my Dentist. So I am in there in the 3rd and 10th of November for minor treatments... Who knows I could come back with them fitted. Would look great in the bike shop!

While I agree with you very much here, it is understandable that people mock his choices, simply because it is such an unbelievable commitment to make, one that not many people would even dare to embark on, just because of the social consequences. In this respect he's a brave and determined chappy - who no doubt doesn't give a damn what other people think, a good example to all

Talking of freaks, a close friend had a run in with this lass recently. It was started with a simple email from my friend, who asked if this person wished to join an internet forum. However because Courtney is an "interestingl" person with strong "right wing conservative views" ( I was starting to think KKK at this point, but I was so very, very wrong!) she some what over reacted and sent back a spiteful, hate fuelled message that told my friend to F*** Off.

Wondering what could have caused such an extreme outburst I did some research and found this. I was way off of the mark it would seem. However it made fascinating reading and I wish her the very best of luck with her own transformation into the being she wishes to be.

Mind you it does not make her hateful remarks against my friend any more justifiable. Not all people into Body modification want to have friends who also modify, it seems.

you can get them done on a something like a temp 'brace' palate/false teeth thing. My mate Noelle had a set done, cost her BF about 40 quid...only thing is on night out she had to drink with a straw and had to take them out to eat because it was almost impossible. I am going back about ten years so these days soemthing like that would probably cost more

This world that we live in is a crazy mixed up place, however I think it is the very fact that people can, and want to be different makes it our home. Personally I wouldn't have It any other way, we should celebrate the fact that we are different. Imagine If we were all the same, now that is a scary thought.
