Has anyone else had a problem getting the Sprocket Cover off after undoing the bolts?
I've been trying for about half an hour, trying different angles, but with no joy whatsoever as the gear selector bar seems to be in the way! Does anyone know if there's a certain technique to get it out??? ![]() Last edited by Steve_God; 30-10-08 at 09:01 PM. |

Never had any issues, but if you are having access/clearence issues maybe a jointed socket extension is required?

3 bolts ther is in them if you have all 3 out then it should just come off easy even with the gear slector fork still on etc...

Yup... took off all three bolts off with no problem.
Just can't find an angle where it will come out, and really don't want to take the gear selector bar off. Lazy I know... ![]() |

didnt have a problem, taken it off afew times for different reasons. use a socket rather than a spanner.
