Default de-restricting pointy

I derestricted my sv (air filter disk-things) a few weeks ago and took it to a guy to sort out the throttle restriction. He took a rectangular piece of metal out from under the air filter but the throttle doesn't seem to twist any further.
I really don't know what I'm talking about when it comes to bikes, but I would have thought that it'd twist more than it does. It goes less than half way, not sure if that's right...?

Have you ridden it- do you know if you've got all the power?

Cos you might just have a different throttle tube on there, if it's a second hand bike.

should be a quarter turn I think i.e.25% if an R6 is a 20% turn

What's your top speed now?

I've ridden it and it turns about 25% so I guess that's alright. Just expected it to turn more than that.
I honestly didn't notice if it had any more power cos I seemed to get it all when doing the first part of the de-restriction process. This time I was more concerned with squeaking and seriously inaccurate speed-reading after fitting new speedo:/

Ta for info

if you don't want to try top speed, just make sure it accelerates from 8K to 11K in first gear
