I have been asked by my boss to investigate cat flaps! yep, that's right, cat flaps!!
![]() At Broadreach we seem to have adopted a cat! My boss wants a cat flap put into a window so that the cat aka Misty can come and go in and out of an office. I have googled cat flaps but I don't know what im doing!! Can anyone help!? He wants the flap to go into a window. The pane itself is 12" x 9" What has my life come to?!! |

A friend just bought a cat flap that's designed to be installed in a glass door or window. It does have to be installed by a glazier.

Shame you live so far away I could've done it on the cheap. If you wanted to use the existing glass unit all that needs to be done is the unit cut down, glue cleaned off both pieces of glass, the section of the tunnel for the cat flap cut out of both pieces, bend some bar (the stuff in-between the glass) round the whole, seal the hole, seal the unit, job done.
![]() If it's a small bit of glass then just whack a bit of plastic panel in there and cut it out for the cat flap. |
