Do people use the term "ghey" because that is more 'acceptable' or less emotive than "gay"?

Of course you are not gay just because you can identify attractive members of your own gender... It's when you want to take them out for dinner, have a fumble in the back of the cinema, then smash their back door in the public toilets, that you might have something to tell the wife.

That first terms winds a mate of mine up something chronic. People think its alright to use the word gay when using it to describe something as rubbish when its actually seen as a derogatory term to a lot of gay people. Just because its spelt differently doesn't disguise that fact. But there we are, nowadays you can't use it to describe yourself as feeling happy because you'll get odd looks, strange huh?

im not gay (i dont think?) but I seem to make a bit of a thing about cuddling my man mates (mainly for comedy) but now and again, I'll have a natter with a few of my girl mates and talk about which fella's have which characteristics, husband material etc...
