Default Kiddies tv

Just finished watching Roary the racing car with my 2 young sons(8+4)& it set me thinking about childhood memories from when i was around their age(in the late 70s/early 80s)& what programmes i used to enjoy at the time.

Came up with this little lot....

Jamie & the magic torch
Metal Mickey
Monkey
Chorlton & the wheelies
Worzel Gummidge

What were your childhood faves??

Scooby Doo
Thundercats
Flintstones
Dangermouse
Transformers (anyone remember the 80's moive)
Denver the last dinsor
Semestreet (oscar and bidbird)
Mupets
Fraggle rock (down at fraggle rock......) (When I was an outdoor ed instructor I convienced the kids, that we had fraggles living in the cave system)

I also liked

Airworlf
Streethawk
A-team
Battlestar Glatica

During the 80's one of the buisness myt family owned was a video store, so I could watch any cartoon, U moive or PG moive I wanted for free.

For someone reason I was never allowed to watch Germilns, rambo ect, the behind counter moives were really adults only

For me the 80's was ace, we had a big ass house, had great parties and watched any cartoon I wanted, was great fun.
