Right, off to London again, and apart from a few things- visit the soho massive, go to camden, go to brixton to see CARTER USM! again, I've not got a lot planned. So, who would like to recommend me some stuff to do?
Places I've been: Transport museum Imperial War Museum Thames cruise Tower of London Monument Greenwich maritime museum & observatory British Museum Covent Garden St Pauls Cabinet War Rooms Museum of London Never done the Westminster/Abbey tours, worth doing? Buck Palace? I might attack the Science Museum and Natural History Museum this time... Maybe the museum in docklands. I don't really do art galleries. Any ideas?

Science & Natural history are quite nice museums. Keep meaning to do the National Portrait Gallery, they say it is quite nice.

Natural History Museum is great. Main reason I ever go to the capital if I do.
What about London Eye? I've not been on it but its meant to be a good experience if a bit dear. Last edited by missyburd; 20-11-08 at 08:19 AM. |

Use airmiles and nectar vouchers for the eye and river cruise...
Westminster Abbey is worth seeing. Take a walk up Whitehall...St Jame's Park is nice...lots of good pubs in that area...Westminster Arms, Moon on the Mall, Sherlock Holmes...

The Aquarium is excellent and very handy for the Eye.
While you're in that part of the town the British Film Institute is also very good. Disregard all of the above if you don't like fish, heights or movies. |
