You guys (and girls) do a thankless task for free, in your own time. I recently sent a PM to one of you in particular along similar lines.

I can't imagine why I thought it appropriate to bring this subject up now. (I also can't remember the HTML code for the rolley-eye sarcasam smiley.)

I just thought you guys would appreciate a bit of Xmas cheer, and a random thank you. I watched a film last night that stated "You can't change the world instantly, you have to do it by one random act of kindness at a time."

Consider this my random act for today. Thank you Mods.

I sincerely hope those of you reading this that aren't mods, realise my intentions & don't degrade them.

Well said mate, I think I posted on my feelings to them too. If not, well done guys, you put up with a lot of carp and yet still do the job giving up your own time.

I echo this sentiment. I mod another board and know how hard it can be, for the most part the mods here do a very good job of what is a largely thankless task, but which is essential to keep the board in such a good state. Well done and a have a good Christmas all.
