Default Biker Crew

following on from the outlaw biker name, why dont the .org set up a proper biker club, but for member online, out in the real world?

As far as I can see, the .org has all the makings of a bike club, just without the name and cool sew-on patches for leathers

we do rideouts, drink beer, AR, go to bike shows, help each other out with problems etc

and alot of the people on here see each other very reguarly.

any thoughts on this?

We already know what we're part of. Thing is, if you start making bike clubs up then you'll have the bearded, beergut brigade, of the Hardly Driveable, your on my patch club, disband or I'll eat your puppies and your cat too,... stickin their oar in..

Also, if you wear a patch identifying you as a "club" there are all sorts of requirements, some I believe actual legal requirements, such as needing club insurance. I believe the correct term from a CYA point of view is, "Loose association of like-minded individuals".

I wouldnt join a club that'd have me as a member.

We have the benefits of being in a club, ( Community spirit, regular meets etc etc ) without the drawbacks of it. ( legal gubbins, insurance, a committee, money issues )

I like it the way it is, I dont see any need to change it and what benefits we'd get by changing it.. just seems to be it'd be a load more hassle.

Try not to blacken the name Ferguson, they are very good tractors that will go on forever and go round corners! Oh and they don't fall apart
