Default Potential food poisoning

Last night I was violently sick and it came out of nowhere.
I must of been up for hours and I feel really rough even now.

I commented on facebook and one of my collegues also suffered the same fate as me. We did both have lunch together in the work canteen.

How can I go about investigating into possible poisoning?

I 'm waiitng to find out if my mate also ate the same food as me.

As far as I remember. The canteen must by law take samples of all foods they have cooked. This must be stored for a period of time in case of such an event as this.

Not entirely sure how you go about reporting it though.

I'd imagine it's quite a difficult thing to investigate Maybe you should have kept vomit samples?

As Big Ape said I`m sure that the canteen is required to keep samples of all food prepared on their premises. Hope you feel better soon

There is a possibility it is not food poisoning. Example, my brother started with sickness and serious stomach cramps over monday, so much so that he ended up going to hospital early hours of Tuesday, and they couldn't find anything serious.

My son started being violently sick in the early hours of Friday morning, I thought it must have been something I cooked up for tea as I was ill Friday too ( but then i remembered my son had been to my brothers house for tea last Sunday) LAst night I had my son up all night with stomach cramps and I'm pretty much the same. Im Indoors has just started with it
There is a virus thats obviously doing the rounds, peerhaps its coincidence that your colleaugue is ill too

Don't know how you'd prove it, but having experienced bad food poisoning I'd say;

"Better that end than the other!"
