good tv programme for you lot..Leyburn

just watched this week a couple of good documentaries about old style department stores.

one was Milners in Leyburn!. i think leyburn is where we stop with the bikes isnt it in the market square..

anyway - I reckon some of you might find it interesting- maily cos its Leyburn and you might know it, or your parents might find it interesting--its odd, funny- and a good glance backwards to the old days and how modernity clashes with history.. I enjoyed it anyway-

yes bbc iplayer... thank you for this, it totally reminded me of the 1970's... and why I must not watch it again...
I do understand the need for shop owners to continue there battle against the high street department stores, but feel their are loosing a galant battle...
Here's let us have a big Cheer to the humble shop keeper... Hip Hip Hurray...
