Anyone had problems with Battery?

Had a number of occasions where turn key to "on", everything "fires up" but when I press ignition you can hear attempted turn over...
...then nothing!

Battery appears to charge fine and then bike starts easily.
Few days later may have same problem.

So, has anyone else had problems with their battery?
Its a Sucan YXT-12 BS.
56 reg SV650S.

Moral of my story is dont assume its everything else but the battery. If you can borrow a known good battery out of someone elses SV and use that for a while it'll help you rule out the battery at least.
My battery was showing all the right figures and lights on an optimate but it would just drain itself for no reason even if just left off the bike for a day.

But DONT sell your bike for such a minor issue, you could end up buying something with many more issues.
