Default Permitted/Allowable business use on mopeds with L plates?

Anyone know how much you are allowed to use say a moped with L plates for business use?

Reason - mopeds L plates parking warden scum.

Can you use your chavmobile 8 hours a day for business use? Are there not any restrictions on this - especially for learners?

There are plenty of L plated couriers about on them. Providing its insured for business they can crack on.

What he said. Some people take a far more liberal approach of "commuting" than insurance companies would and are using vehicles only insured for commuting for what is technically business use. Most insurers' definition of commuting is along the lines of, "travel to and from your place of work, which is the main office/site you work at". If you are a regional manager and travel between 50 different sites, you won't get away claiming each one was your "place of work" and that you were commuting.

Most also consider doing this as different to transporting goods (eg couriering), which is why couriers, pizza delivery boys, etc. can't get away with just getting normal "business use" insurance.
