Default Anger management

Maybe telling my boss that I quit wasn't the most sensible thing to do.

The actual phrase I used was "I don't have to take this much **** for the pittance you pay me" I might have also thrown in the word 'obnoxious' at some point as well.

Some people deserve to know the truth...

Just curious, I have a habit of losing my rag and so do a few colleagues.

Maybe, but when I've been selling in the bike and car trade for the past 20 odd years, and managing sales accounts for Honda UK, Vauxhall Motors and others of that ilk - with a personal sales turnover in excess of 5 million quid a year for 10 of those years - I don't expect some 30 year old arrogant gimp (who may well be a great computer programmer but who's never done a proper bit of selling in his life) trying to tell me I don't have drive or enthusiasm.

In the past I've built my own business from scratch when I didn't have a penny to my name, to having a 200K turnover within two years, before selling out to one of my suppliers for a handsome sum. I don't need some nob like that trying to tell me how to sell.

He got told in no uncertain terms to stick it where the sun doesn't shine.

That's not a resignation, it's a grievance.

I followed up the sentence with "I quit"... that's a definite resignation.
