Can anyone describe to me how the ride of an SV is if the rear tire is over inflated?
Got my bike serviced a while back, and they fixed a puncher while they were at it... since then bikes not felt the same so checked the tyre pressure, it was near the 50psi mark! Bikes been a bit funny round corners - almost as if there is no air in it, and also the rear wheel has spun a couple of times in the wet when moving off... These symptoms that others have experienced with over inflated tyres?

I put it down to about 38 today when i realised, but only did a few miles from work to home so didnt get a chance to check properly...
BigApe:Just wanted to check that i is just over inflation rather then something else aswell... The service people took the tire off to fix the puncher so never know if they did something wrong when putting it back together!

If you have deflated the tyre to 38psi and it still feels like it spinning up very easy it might have a pucture?

If the tyre people removed the tyre from the rim they probably overinflated to secure a good tyre rim seal, common practice. I would ride it home like this then drop it back to normal working pressure when cold. Bit naughty of them not to tell you it was overinflated though.
