Oil Filter Offer

Just got back from the NEC.

Got 2 cupons for oil filters.

One for the SV and one for the GS. They will recoup some of the money for the train fare & the reduced ticket i got through a friends m/c club.

Quite a good show but not keen on the Gladius. Seems a little lower than SV and the digital speedo is on the right.

Glad i got a new SV before they dissappear.

I also got a free filter voucher.....

BUT, I am having trouble re-deeming it. Went into Clarkes of Accrington(Suzuki/Honda dealer) and the guy there looked strangely at the voucher and said they didn't know anything about and to ring them the next day. Rang them yesterday - they hadn't checked it with Suzuki and they said they would ring me back - no call yet.

SO, I tried the Rocket Center in Blackburn - also not heard of the offer. told they needed to check it and they would ring me back.

Has anyone else out there successfully redeemed their vouchers?

I redeemed one of mine at Fowlers today, no problem. The bloke forgot to take down my details though, so I should be able to get another one on the same registration...

Yes - schoolboy error I know!
I ended up ringing Suzuki GB customer services who said they would ring Clarkes's to clarify the promotion is valid.

Rang them today to confirm they have a filter in stock and that I can redeem my coupon and all seems well, so I should have my sticky mitts on my freebie filter this afternoon.

I would have gone elsewhere but on principle are determined to make them give me a filter. Then I can make a mental note not to go in again - unless there's another free offer
