Sadly you will need to record you music to your pc much like you would with a cassette or vinyl. Its a long time consuming task!! Youd be better off posting up a list of albums and i am sure that someone will send you a back up copy
![]() Any of the main media players will allow you to edit the id3 tag. WMP, Itunes and suchlike. There are dedicatied programmes that do this stuff, but i dont know the names. |

unforunately, the stuff i have to get off mini disk is bespoke stuff,
its backing tracks for my stage work, so i cant get them elsewhere, i know i have to copy them in real time onto the pc, it was more for advice as to which bits of software are easier for me to do that, i have audacity and Creatives media source can do it, ill give them a try and see how it goes. |

i have no experience of minidisks so wouldnt know where to start but if u have the sound files on your comp its easy... if not audacity most freeware sequencers have the option to save as mp3, and if all that fails let me know and ill post you cubase sx which definatley has the save as mp3 option as well as loads of other bits (as long as you post it back after youve loaded it up!!) |
