Default Rear Brake Pad Holding Pin Seized

Hi,

I am trying to replace the rear brake pads on my SV. One of the two pins holding the pads in place seems to have seized - I've tried WD40, levering it via the cotter pin hole and swearing at it to no avail. Any ideas on how I can get it to budge?

Matt

It usually is, the best thing to do after every pad change is prep everything for the next time so you will not have the same problems again.

it's not too difficult it is it's only what 6mm bar with a 5mm hex socket on the end with a hole drilled through? Is the socket even needed on the end?

Nope. Just a bar with a hole in it is all you need
