Default So Frankenkwak's radiator is fixed, but...

So I now have a new radiator fixed to the Green Demon of Breakiness. having taken the radiator on and off now (I think) 4 times to switch engines I'm pretty confident I did it right, and it all seems to be working fine. there's just one thing that's bothering me...

Unlike all the other times I've fixed it, there are no new Sid Squid fingerprints on it. Does this matter? Is it going to blow up on me without these vital pieces? I've checked the haynes manual but there's no mention of whether they are strictly necessary or not, but all other times they seem to have been a key ingredient.

Does anyone know of a website where I can order them from or do I have to go to the wonderful and knowledgeable man himself?

Help me .Orgy Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope...

They are only required in certain circumstances. Well one circumstance actually.

If the owner is a complete feckwit.

Are you

Normally verbal advice on said item from SS is enough.

Dude, you've met me more than once. I'm hurt and upset that you even have to ask this question.

OF COURSE I AM!

This thread is really about saying thanks again to Mr Squid for all his patience and advice (and magic oily fingers) and for a bit of a laff...

Well....i;ve done some things to my bike without my dad around. Most stuff went ok (taking off the belly pan, putting it back again, taking off the exhaust, putting it back again). But some other things went wrong (stripped a thread, nearly couldnt get my clutch cover sealed, but its ok, there was just about enough thread left).

I dont like doing anyhting major without my dads fingerprints left behind. His built in torque measurer is very accurate (tight, bloody tight, ******* tight, bust).

I think you'll be ok though bear. just ride it then recheck it

I think there's probably enough historical fingerprints already there to keep it running well enough for a while, but I day say your bike will require an SSFP top up soon enough.

They all do sooner or later.

I think you may have been sent instructions on how to attain said SSFP's. You need to check your electronic mailbox and tellingbone and all may become clear. If instructions aren't there you may find other mail and/or texts requiring acknowledgment that have been temporarily misplaced

I thought it had broken again! I had to touch wood
