Default Hotgrips on SV650

I found a very nice pdf someone did on here about fitting hotgrips.

Does anyone know if the fusebox wiring is the same on a 2008 sv650 sport as it shows for a K5?

I was thinking about getting heated grips today, as my hands went numb after about 10 minutes riding, rubbish!

Do they drain the battery all the time, or does off really mean off and they will only draw power when switched on...?

If you wire them in so they can only come on when the ignition is on you shouldn't have any problem.
