Default Tescos......

Are the biggest bucnch of c..........well you get the idea.

So I go there today to buy the 19" LG monitor, go to to tesco direct and they faff around and eventually find a monitor, get to the checkout they want £116 so I said its not that price. They eventually come back to me with still the wrong price, so I blow my stack and shouted the shop assitant down I was angry

So after an hour I get out of there, got home open the box no stand or VGA cable. I'm gonna back and string that shop assiant by his nuts using the electrixal cable. Lets just say I'm angry
Normally I don't get mad, but am not happy.

And your keyboard is broken too, the repeat rate has gone a bit mad.

Not your day is it?

Grrr? I have a feeling none of their staff are trained in any way whatsoever. They expanded so quickly into everything i think you just get the bargain and no customer service.
Go kick some ass on the sabbath

So you went in on a Saturday, and you got the not so bright college student at your service. Tesco is high on customer service. I worked for them for 5 or so years. They have people on training courses over and over for customer service.
The thing is about Tesco is that you get all the nice helpful people working during the week, and all the spotty teenagers with attitudes working on a weekend.

Go back on Monday and i bet you get a better reception.....oh and be nice, shouting and being rude gets nobody anywhere. The customer may be always right, but that don;t mean you have to suck up to them if they are rude.

Haha, true of everywhere i suppose
On the training bit, i know of someone who's been at tesco's since 1992 and had barely any training since the start. (apart from video's with 1980s hair do's about how to climb a ladder when you're working on the tills)

Anyway the moany thing's right enough, we'd all prefer to do something for someone because they're nice, and not because the customer's making a scene.

As for being snotty getting you nowhere? I don't really work with the public, i work with inter-company sales, and they're always snotty ****heads, and being snotty really does get them everywhere

I work in Tesco
Was barely trained when I started, havn't been since, and I'm the least friendly person known to man with the customers, lol. We do our best for customers who don't blow their top, those ones we ignore, so hence why the poor customer service. Of course "we spotty teenagers" have attitudes, the place sucks and customers suck. Obviously the screen you got was the display monitor, grabbed at the last minute and shoved in a box, it happens. Go back monday, be polite, and it'll work wonders

Old but gold.

Not really at all relevant, I was just reminded of it and thought I'd share.
