Default bike cutting out while reving

i am perplexed to say the least my bike starts and runs fime but some times when i accelerate i lose power and some time the engine dies this also happens when its idleing and i rev it, it happening more often now and is dangerous to say the least help needed urgently cheers

Is it cold and damp on those days? Also you might want to check your coke, that the cable hasn't snapped or something.
Else it sound a bike like a fuelling issue I had with a blocked jet in the cables.

choke doesnt work could that be doing like i say it starts but only dies when reved

I would suspect that one of the choke plungers is stuck or something. So pop up the tank, pop the air box off and check the cable. It might be easier to remove the cables with the carbs still attached as the holding screw tend to seize and its easier to work on it then. If it is stuck then a Impact driver is your friend, just put something padded behind the carbs when you whack them.

cheers if i undo the choke cable and it will run alright or will i have to get a new one asap

Your need a new one as the choke plungers will be open if you remove it.
I warn you, they are not cheap, see if anyone has a second hand one or something. I think pattern parts website prices are not to high, though just make sure you take time to give it a loobe in the future.
