As it says really. Just wondering how many of you really are all weather bikers.
I did and it wasn't too bad. The roads were free of snow but the driveway out of my flat and the work car park was a different story. Snowfall was a couple of inches or so. Last edited by MCN_LiamM; 02-02-09 at 11:24 AM. |

Fortunately not - the trains were running fine so I had no reason to risk my life on the roads on the bike. Having said that, the car works too so I would have gone in that had the trains not been working.
Bike is a last resort for me in this weather I'm afraid! ![]() |

started it, but as it's in about a foot of snow I doubt I'd get it off the front.
Might try a bit later. Cheers Mark.

I have to take daughter to school with violin, PE kit, packed lunch and 'hair'. Can't fit them all on the bike, even when it's sunny

I only get the car if its snow, she gets bus. I don't bounce as well as I used to.
Unfortunately the motah was getting collected for MOT and service so it was bike. Roads were all clear and well gritted. Just my SV and a R1150LT in work. The amount of snow in Glasgow is hardly worth mentioning. Time yet for weather-based chaos ,with a bit of luck. Love it. ![]() Makes me want to get a "Trailie"! |

I tried. Couldn't get up the drive. Neighbor was pi$$ing himself laughing at me making a run up at it, getting half way, then slithering back down.
