What would you do if ....

...... you walked into a local corner shop with the intention of buying a few classified ads mags in the hope of buying a new car, and the shop owner starts screaming at you?

true story....happened yesterday morning.

i went into Ipswich town with the intention of buying a few mags and sitting in starbucks with a coffee and bun and scouring the classifieds,
as i picked up the first mag in the corner store the lady behind the counter starts screaming at me!!!
i look around thinking there is a shoplifter, and see nothing i look at the shopkeeper and she is pointing at me, at the top of her voice shouting "you, you, you,....dont open that".
i walk towards her and say "beg your pardon, what did you say?" thinking i must have misheard her, she says "dont open that magazine, you havent paid for it yet". i laugh thinking to myself this must be a joke, i say to her "how do i know i want to buy it if i dont know whats inside it?"
she replies "pay for it and find out"
I think "wow....wierd surreal situation" and say to her " you're a rude person...do i look like i cant afford £2.00 for a mag, actually stuff it i'll go and buy all the mags i was looking for next door in sainsburys....have a nice day" as i neatly put the mag back where i found it and walked towards the door i heard her say "thats right walk out...you're all the same"
wow!!!!!!
i believe in supporting local business's and this episode wont stop me doing that...but what would you have done?............

The exact same although I would have been seriously tempted to go to sainsburies pick up the mag, march into the loony's store and slowly and calmly take a dump on the floor whilst flicking through the classifieds.

You should release the name of the shop so all the local passing sv crew can make a point of going in there flicking through the mags and then leaving.

when looking to buy a bike i rarely buy a mag........ i just go to ASDA and look through them

when going shopping with the missus, I'll go and grab a magazine to read on the way round. Then when we get near the end, just put it back (or dump it near the bread)
