Default "Ring" Battery Charger/Optimiser

Does anyone have experience of these? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/12v-MOTORCYCLE...3A1|240%3A1318

Pretty cheap and with the added bonus of being called "ring"!

I bought a cheap battery charger/optimiser type thing from Aldi a couple of weeks ago. Think it was about £13. Not tried it out yet.
