Default Ah. The sound of a V-Twin with fresh oil.

Just put a sump full of Comp 4 in.

She absolutely purrs now. Lovely!

And with just a few drops spilled this time. Even many months apart on oil changes, one seems to be getting better at it!

So much nicer for not having to scrub the path too much afterwards.

Sweeeeet!

I keep the previous (now empty) 5L oil container and fill that up with used oil. I use this to top up my scottoiler. Once it's full/I have another spare container I put it with the pile of "stuff to take to the tip" that lives near my bin.

+1.

Used engine oil gets stored & transferred into my scottoiler when required.

As for the engine sound after an oil change. Treat it to plugs/filters & a carb/TB balance at the same time. Then you'll understand what love is.

There is a reason I play with throttle bodies whenever the tank is up.

I was going to call BS on this.

But mine was schweeet toooo!!!!!!

It's like it has less engine braking - which is a good thing, especially under acceleration.

(& I put semi syth car oil in, 2 ltrs of Mobile and the 3/4 litre or whatever it required of Tesco's finest )

Oh & why do I always drop the sump plug which immediately falls into the opening to the catch tray & plug it
