Default Stacked it after two weeks - at least i get loan of a yellow t-shirt

O.K. Good people of Soho, this is how it went down: Two weeks and three day on my new pride and joy, coming home from work last night (Wed 25.02.09) around the elephant, around the 2 roundabouts onto Newington Butts, doing about 30ish, traffic stopped at lights so i'm filtering and slowing down. Minicab pulls a foot down u-turn -no indicators - no lights. tried to brake and swerve but he was looking the other way and hit me. I managed to bloc the E&C roundabout for half an hour, police and ambulance. Apparently i did two full somersaults before headbutting the deck. Head, neck, shoulder, elbows, hip, ancle and knees all ache and im a bit concussed but no broken bones my crash bung has taken the worst
indicator, mirror, exhaust, footbrake lever are damaged plus lots of scratches etc... will get the forks and frame checked tomorrow at the garage... So glad i was wearing my leathers...
See you all tomorrow evening - on my surprise hire bike

Oops!! Hope you're ok! Welcome to the 'exclusive' club.

I'm afraid the t-shirt is yellow and may well clash with your red!!

Oh no Luke! That's not good news.

Really glad to hear that you're not badly hurt though... Hope you and the bike mend okay soon.

Hard luck mate, glad the damage to you and the bike seems to be light.

Cheers Mark.

Did you get up and do the Y shaped thing gymnasts do with their arms after such acrobatic off? Glad you're well. Bloomin cab drivers eh?! You'd have thought with the amount of time they're on the road they'd be the best drivers!

I'm afraid I have to point you in the direction of THE RULES of Crashy Mcgee.

At least you have lots of red cabbages! See you tomorrow.

I reckon as Luke is certainly shaping up to be a Soho member but just hasn't had the chance to attend 4 yet certainly shouldn't stop him from getting the T shirt

Its amazing how invisible those K6 Red pointies are..... and fitting that loud can wouldn't have helped much either

Glad you are ok tho - and bikes can be fixed.

And yes, I think he SHOULD qualify for the t-shirt - well Spidy still has it and DevilBiccy never wanted it anyway

Oh and suggest to the repairer that if its just the end-can thats damaged (ie pipework ok) that a 3rd party end-can will be cheaper than a full system

The amount of cabbies that do this is stupid they should start locking them up for dangerous driving/driving without DCAA they'll soon start driving considerately.
