Snowdonia Today

Once I had decided to skip the flying lessons from the guy in the ford escort today, I went for a bit of a spin around Snowdonia, and stopped here and there to take a few snaps . . .

I'm sure I recognise that bit o wall, from near Llanberis...where is it?

but then i could be wrong!

That layby in pic 2 and 3 looks a bit like the Ogwen Valley to me , nice pics mate

Nah. Looks like capel curig to pen y gwryd then down towards llanberis and then a turn round to head back up and down towards beddgelert is my guess from the flickr pics
I think the wall is the pen y gwryd car park wall at the top of the pass which is on the way to (or from llanberis)

Pretty much spot on there matey, I especially liked the way you figured I'd turned back round from Llanberis

Doesnt work like that for some people . . .I'm from Bangor, and am still pants at remembering all the different names, and ways of getting to those places around snowdonia.

Dizzy, you were also correct, you stopped there on one of the NW rides, NW3 perhaps?

For a giggle, I went out that way late the other night. Pitch black it was with no traffic. Nice to sharpen responses.
