please can someone help i have just put my bike away and went to connect my charger which is located under the pillon seat but it will not open the key turns a bit and i can hear the latch trying to work but nothing please help

Wiggle the seat about, if not then the cable has probably jumped out and it's time to go fishing.

Push down on the seat as Chris says. There may be something under the seat pushing it up too much for the lock to clear the prongs.

Or you can remove the fairing trim where the key hole is and just pull the cable manually, its about half an hour fiddling with the spanners but it will work.
You have to remove riders seat first IIRC and then just undo the trim with allen keys and screwdriver |
