 Vehicles get safe....with better brakes and safety features......yet the 30 year olds speeds and distance and now unsafe.

Strikes me that it will be a waste of time having anything above 250cc,or is it a ploy for more revenue with the country being littered with average speed cameras?
More people being banned under the totting up,well I suppose its one way to relieve congestion. IMHO it will cause more accidents by people being frustrated and overtaking in situations they would normally not bother about Last edited by Dicky Ticker; 08-03-09 at 10:40 AM. |

They are determined to have a fully "surveillanced"road network in this country in the very near future and having the rationale for universal speed watching fits in well with this.Watch out for new policy dovetailing in with transponders for road pricing too.None of that has gone away.

This made me laugh... As the governement is realising that speed is such a low contributor to accidents, they want to reduce the speed limit so that they can say more accidents were caused by speed. Next thing we'll be stuck at walking pace

Thats a good idea," walking pace ", then we can have loads of job vacancies for people to walk in front with the red flag,bit of a risky job though
